About Us
Werewolf Performance, LLC was founded by Sean Pollard in April of 2022. Sean has always been a gearhead at heart, always wanting to tinker with and fix things. At the age of 14 he was gifted a dirtbike from his parents, and began tinkering with that to keep it going, and make it better. In High School, in 2005, he bought a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro, which he still owns, and immediately began modifying it. Within 3 months the engine developed a rod knock and required replacement. Instead of throwing in the towel, Sean did his first engine swap job at the age of 16, swapping the 3.1L V6 out of his Camaro and installing a 5.0L TPI V8. He also rewired the vehicle to have a Trans Am dashboard, custom gauges, and swapped the transmission from a 4 Speed Automatic to a 5 Speed manual, all at the age of 16.
He went to college at Wyotech in Blairsville, PA in 2007, and professionally learned everything he needed to, to continue his career path. In December of 2007, he achieved the Outstanding Student award, one of the highest awards one can get for Wyotech, for outstanding leadership, academic achievement, and dedicated effort. In 2008, Sean graduated top of his class and began his professional career in automotive.
Over many years he built his reputation, and eventually he was contacted to work for a high end restoration and race car shop. He worked with many high end BMW vehicles, including 1971 BMW CSL race cars, E30 M3s, BMW 2002 TIIs, E9 CS Coupes, etc. This shop inspired him to work on starting his own shop, and thus the idea of Werewolf Performance started.
in 2017 Sean moved to Maine to facilitate the starting of his own shop, however finances stated he couldn't start it immediately. He regretfully left the restoration shop and began working as a general mechanic again to make ends meet while building up funding for his new dream. In 2022, with an inheritance from his grandparents, he was finally able to quit his job and start full time at Werewolf Performance, LLC. Ever since starting, he has built a reputation within the local area for his dedicated effort, unmatched quality, and exceptional knowledge in all things automobiles. He has helped many make races, build their dreams, and just keep their cars on the road.
